First Generation
1. George1 Murdock died September 22, 1778 in Plainfield, Connecticut. He married Elizabeth Duncan. Elizabeth died September 30, 1778 in Plainfield, Windham County, Connecticut.
George Murdock and Elizabeth Duncan had the following children:

Second Generation
5. Daniel2 Murdock (George1_) was born in Plainfield, Windham County, Connecticut March 4, 1754. He died August 3, 1813 in Hartwick, Otsego County, New York, at 59 years of age. He married Luranah Mathewson in Voluntown, New London County, Connecticut, May 1785. Luranah was born in Voluntown, New London, Connecticut February 20, 1769. She was the daughter of George Matteson and Luranah Matteson. Luranah Mathewson died June 26, 1846 in Hartwick, Otsego County, New York, at 77 years of age.
Daniel Murdock and Luranah Mathewson had the following children:

8 iii. Diana Murdock was born March 30, 1787. She died 1790.
9 iv. Lurana Murdock died in Hartwick, Otsego County, New York. She married Ira Wheeler in Hartwick, Otsego County, New York, March 28, 1809. Ira was born in Rensselaer County, New York December 11, 1788. He died September 6, 1867 in Toddsville, Otsego County, New York, at 78 years of age.
