First Generation
1. Thomas1 Dewey was born in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut 1640. He died April 27, 1690 in Westfield, Hampden County, Mass.. He married Constance Hawes in Westfield, Hampden County, Mass., June 1, 1663. Constance was born in Dorchester, Suffolk County, Mass. July 17, 1642. Constance died April 26, 1703 in Westfield, Hampden County, Mass., at 60 years of age.
Thomas Dewey and Constance Hawes had the following child:
2 i. Hannah Dewey2 was born in Northampton, Hampshire County, Mass. February 21, 1671. Hannah died in Sheffield, Berhshire County, Massachusetts. She married Matthew Noble in Westfield, Hampden County, Mass., December 10, 1690. Matthew was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Mass. 1668. He was the son of Thomas Noble and Hannah Warriner. Matthew died 1744 in Sheffield, Berhshire County, Massachusetts. (See Matthew Noble for the continuation of this line.)
