2. Robert J.2 Bullis (Robert1_) was born in Columbia County, New York 1771. He died 1852 in Midddlefield, Otsego County, New York. He married Elsa Walker. Elsa was born in Chatham, Columbia County, New York 1777. She was the daughter of Archibald Walker and Sarah Unknown. Elsa died in Midddlefield, Otsego County, New York.
Robert J. Bullis and Elsa Walker had the following child:

Third Generation
3. Joseph I.3 Bullis (Robert J.2, Robert1_) was born in Kinderhook, Columbia County, New York August 1798. He died January 9, 1879 in Cooperstown, Otsego County, New York. Joseph married Sarah Ashley in Midddlefield, Otsego County, New York, January 2, 1820. Sarah was born in Chatham, Columbia County, New York December 13, 1800. She was the daughter of James Ashley and Eunice Brockway. Sarah died January 14, 1868 in Midddlefield, Otsego County, New York, at 67 years of age.
Joseph I. Bullis and Sarah Ashley had the following child:
4 i. Catherine Bullis4 was born in Midddlefield, Otsego County, New York February 2, 1833. She died November 10, 1909 in Utica, Oneida County, New York, at 76 years of age. Catherine married Luzerne Wheeler in Hartwick, Otsego County, New York, March 14, 1850. Luzerne was born in Cooperstown, Otsego County, New York November 15, 1827. He was the son of Ira Wheeler and Lurana Murdock. Luzerne died January 16, 1906 in Richfield Springs, Otsego County, New York, at 78 years of age.
