She was the daughter of Joanes Franciscus Van Maldeghem and Clemence Vincence Jaspaert. Leona died September 6, 1958 in Ghent, Lyon, Minnesota, at 81 years of age.

6 v. Wilhemina (Minnie) Duthoy was born in Ghent, Lyon, Minnesota December 11, 1904. She died February 19, 1998 at 93 years of age. She married Theodore Johnson. Theodore was born August 12, 1897.
