many different types of fluorescent rock samples. Rock collecting

A large file provides space for a file of clippings and records
of the Township. Gifts and books selected from the library collection
make up the nucleus of a reference collection. One way in which
the Society is recording Stillwater history is by maintaining
a file of family histories and genealogies at the Museum. Descendants
of early residents as well as those now living in Stillwater
are invited to contribute to this file.
Old Schoolhouse

This old building originally was a 1910, two-story brick addition
to a building that had been erected in 1872 and was the last
of a series of four early schools built in Ogdensburg. In 1930,
the original part of the building was demolished and the addition
moved to its present site and was converted to the house the
borough's first firehouse and was used as such until 1972.

This is a gallery and store featuring hundreds of handmade items
produced by resident and American craftsman. The crafts village
is open in the summer.
Elias
Van Bunschooten Museum

In 1785, the Reverend Elias Van Bunschooten was sent by the
Synod of the Dutch Reformed Church to take charge of three consistories,
Maghagamack, Minisink and Walpack. He was thirty-seven when
he went there and served the area for forty years until his
death. This was his house and was built in 1787. They have a
Genealogical Library with a large collection of Lineage books
and the library is open by appointment.

This is a working restoration of this old community alongside
the former Morris Canal. It features costumed guides, a grist
mill, a general store and the Towpath Tavern. It is the home
of the Waterloo Music Festival.

This is a re-creation of a village in the Wild West. It offers
22 shows a day, including stagecoach holdups and the gunfight
at the OK Corral. Visitors can take pony, stagecoach, and train
rides.
