Through researching my family history,
I came across your site and found tombstone inscriptions for some
distant relatives. I attach a file for
Mary Bailey (Redpath) for yor shared
rearch pages.

BAILEY, Mary born Mary
Redpath
Mary born in 1848 in Markinch, Fife,
Scotland
Her parents were Alexander Redpath and
Mary Dalglish. One of her siblings was my G G grandfather.
Mary married twice. Firstly, she
married William Bennett in Aberdour, Fife in 1872 with whom she had 4
children, 2 of whom died in Scotland.
She emigrated to the USA about 1880
and at some time just before or just after she emigrated, her first
husband died.
She then married Sydney Bailey on 11th
March 1887 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, USA, with whom she had
3 children John,
Charles Edward and Ella May.
The LDS entry for this is rather
confused in that it spells Redpath as Redipath and Dalgleish as
something which looks like Czech – however
it sounds like Dalgleish.
Sidney Bailey came from Dawley in
Shropshire, England and had parents Enoch and Mary Ann
In the 1910 USA Census, they live in
Forward Township
Through you site, I have found that
she, her husband and son were buried at:
Taylor Grave Yard
Elkhorn Road, off Church Hollow Road
Forward Twp
Allegheny County
She died in 1918, he in 1921.
One of the sons, Charles has an
inscription b20 Nov 1888 d26 Apr 1962 Pennsylvania, PFC 22
Engineers, World War I
