The exact parentage of the following Jacob Young I do not know after 21 years of research.  Any knowledge of his parents or siblings is the information I seek.  From the tombstone he was born October 3, 1775 and died June 7, 1857.  He is buried in Dreisbach Cemetery in Union County, Pennsylvania.  Other Young's from Hunterdon County immigrated into Buffalo Township when he was nearing adulthood and thus the reason for this query.

Jacob Young first appears in paperwork in the Buffalo Township, Northumberland County, 1800 Federal Census.  At this time he is married without living children.  From an Adam Young will of February 1807 he was one of the witnesses and was age 26.  His name is listed as purchasing items at this auction.  The first land purchase recorded is 1816.  Bible records list his marriage, his children's birth dates, other marriage dates, and death dates.  An assumption is his parents should be born in the 1740's-1750's as 25-35 years of age for childbearing is not unreasonable.

The genealogy data that I have compiled is:  Jacob Young  was born October 03, 1775, and died June 07, 1857 in Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania.  He married Mariah Magdalenah Bower, daughter of Casper Bauer.  She was born October 15, 1772, and died January 07, 1843 in Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania.

The only child to live to adult age of Jacob Young and Mariah Bower is: + 2 i. Adam Nicholas4 Young, born February 13, 1808 in Buffalo township, Union County, Pennsylvania; died October 08, 1872 in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania.

2.  Adam Nicholas Young (Jacob) was born February 13, 1808 in Buffalo Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, and died October 08, 1872 in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania.  He married (1) Elizah Rockey November 18, 1830, daughter of George Rockey.  She was born October 1812 in New Berlin, Pennsylvania, and died August 14, 1843 in Union County, Pennsylvania.  He married (2) Elizabeth Swartzlander February 13, 1844 in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, daughter of George Swartzlander and Elizabeth
Wales.  She was born September 23, 1828 in Buffalo Township, Union County,
Pennsylvania, and died July 22, 1866 in Buffalo Township, Union County,
Pennsylvania.  He married (3) Sarah Spigelmeyer June 13, 1867 in Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania, daughter of Abraham Spigelmeyer and Mary Young.  She was born April 11, 1843 in Buffalo township, Union County, Pennsylvania.
