Surname: VLIET/OPDYKE
I am trying to determine the parentage of my great-great-grandfather Jacob B. VLIET. He was the husband of Barbary OPDYKE. Toward the end of their lives, they lived on Tunnel Avenue in West Portal. Jacob died in 1879. Barbary died in 1884. One of their daughters (my great-grandmother) was Sarah Jane VLIET. She married Dennis MALLEY, an Irishman who worked as a Section Foreman for the railroad.
