Hunterdon County Query

Surname: SMITH (SCHMIDT)
I am looking for information on Jacob SMITH (SCHMIDT) b. Sept. 9, 1739 in Hunterdon. Father, Mathias SCHMIDT, Mother, Christiana Unknown. Jacob married Elizabeth LEWIS abt.. 1761 in New Jersey. Both are buried in Canada. Would like any information any one has. Was Jacob on the British side during the Rev. War? Need info. on Elizabeth Lewis. I have nothing on her except birth & death dates.
