Hunterdon County Query

Surname: DORLAND/PETTIT/SMITH/WILCOX
Need information on the family of Johathan and Deborah Pettit, son Andrew and Sarah Smith, daughter of Joseph and Rachel Smith, John Smith and Hannah Wilcox. Isaac Smith, son of John And Hannah Smith married Elizabeth Pettit, daughter of Andrew and Deborah Pettie in Grimsby in 1804, However, their first son ws named John Dorland Smith, and I believe that Elizabeth Pettit was a widow married to John Dorland of Hunterdon Co NJ. All these families and their children moved from the Hunterdon/Sussex Co's to Grimsby, Lincoln Co Ontario Canada around 1784-1800. Thank you
