Parents of Martin SMITH: b. December 20, 1756 (now Clinton Twnshp); d. September ?, 1840 (Readington Twnshp); m. c. 1776 (now Raritan Twnshp) Charity Rodenbaugh; b. August 1, 1759 and d. January 12, 1843 (both Readington Twnshp). Martin & Charity were parents of: Sarah SMITH: b. September 11, 1784; d. October 27, 1851 (locations unknown but assumed to be Readington Twnshp); m. February 11, 1806 (location?) John S. Stires: b. September 23, 1784; d. October 11, 1851 (somewhere in Hunterdon, both buried Baptist Church Cem., Flemington).
