EICHLER
I am searching for Heronymous and or Conrad EICHLER, alternately IKELER. The family history refers to Joseph Eichler (it is my assumption that Heronymous and Joseph are the same). I have them arriving in Oxford, Essex County from Germany in 1760, and appearing on the charter for the Evangelical Zion and Lutheran Church in Spruce Run, Hunterdon County in 1768, and again in a christening in 1771 (?). The next information I have places two sons in Greenwood Township, PA in 1804. By 1804 the spelling had changed to IKELER. I am trying to confirm the connection between PA and NJ. Any assistance would be appreciated
