TRIMMER
Searching the family of Johannes TRIMMER (~1690s-1749/50) who settled in Amwell Twp. area, Hunterdon Co. in the 1730s and especially the descendants of the eldest son Matthias TRIMMER ~1722-1793)(he m. Anna Martha NACHBAR). Matthias' son David TRIMMER of Lower Valley (m. Margaret PICKEL) and their son Jacob D. I have the Jacob D. TRIMMER (b.1802) & Susan MELICK family Bible of New Germantown (Tewksbury Twp.), where are the other old ones?! Rev. Chambers mentioned (1895) the existence of a TRIMMER German language Bible. The TRIMMER's apparently originated (per H.Z.Jones, Jr.) from Neuwied on the Rhein (Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany).
