EMERY/SHEPARD (SHEPPARD)
I have been searching for anecstral information for Alonzo Emery and his brothers Will and Bert/Burt for some time with no results. Alonzo b. 1865 was my grandfather, married Sadie Shepard and had 12 children, 9 of whom survived infancy: Nellie, Rita (long i sound) ,Peter, Nathaniel, Sarah, Howard, Wilmer, Jane and Margaret (no special order) He was killed at a train crossing 1920. Sadie died of consumption 190809

All children were born in the "Rocktown" (now part of Ringoes) area of Hunterdon Co and lived there until they married. Howard and Wilmer did not marry and lived in Hunterdon Co until their death. Wilmer lived in Larrison's Corner next to the cemetary where Alonzo and Sadie are buried. He, too is buried there. Any help with this Emery line would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
