EMERY
Seeking information for ADAM EMERY b ca 1759 (parents/place unknown). It is thought Adam may have fought as a Hessian in the British army. Any thoughts on this? Is it possible his name was dropped from the family records in the Hunterdon area? No trace can be found of his heritage. He married Sarah Hibbs (a Quaker from PA) in 1779 Frederick Co MD. They settled for a time in Loudoun Co VA and then in Bedford Co VA where several children were born. They removed to Hardin Co KY in late 1700s and lived out their lives there. I have extensive downline but know nothing of Adam's birthright.
