SCHWEITZER
I'm trying to trace the members of the family of James Oliver Sweitzer, aka SCHWEITZER? b 9 December 1826 in Hanover Twp, PA according to his 1862 enlistment papers at Flemington, NJ. At that time he was a wagon/coachmaker and farmer in Milford, Alexandria Twp. I have him well tracked after his 1st 1850 NJ, Milford, census appearance as a wagonmaker, living in a hotel in Milford at age 24. He was married later that year 12 Dec 1850 St John's Church, First Street, Easton.

He married 1st Ann Rockafeller Boeman, and had 2 dgts born in Milford NJ. I have not found much of their history. Emma Sweitzer was born 1852, and Anna Sweitzer was born in 1854, both on Milford farm. I have no information regarding the first wife's death? or possible desertion of children? Emma Sweitzer seems to have left no record after her birth, and I have found no records of death of her or her mother. The farm was sold by the Sheriff in 1872, but James Oliver Sweitzer had remarried in 1870, as a widower, in the Parsonage of the same church as his first marriage, to a widow with children Henrietta (Clewell) Herbst Sweitzer.

I am seeking the death date of Ann Rockafeller (Boeman) Sweitzer. probably in Milford or some nearby hospital town? I am seeking any information on Emma Sweitzer b 1852 Milford NJ. I am seeking any information on Anna Sweitzer b 1854 Milford NJ, who was discharged from the Milford Manse (Eposcopial?) Church in 1884, by letter, to the care of the Doylestown Manse. She moved there in 1884-85 to reside with her mothers sister, her Aunt Elizabeth (Bowman/Boeman) YOUNG who lived near Doylestown, Bucks Co. PA, and must have attended church there.

I hope you can help me, but thank you, in any event.
