Jacob Servis--born 1815 married Catherine Fisher 1840--Jacob Servis died 1898--no record of his death in Hunterdon County or Bucks County. have Servis Bible but it starts with Jacob and Catherine--Is jacob the son of John Servis of Hunterdon couty mentioned in thre History of East Amwell-1700-1800? It is stated that John had William, Jacob, Tunis, John, Alcha, , Mary, Catherine (John's wife was named Catherine) and Elizabeth but does not give dates for jacob and several othrs. John srved in the Rev. War for one month under Capt John Phillips. John died in 1834 . Jacob, after wife Catherine's death in 1865 moved from child to child and his last entry into the census shows him living with his daughter Mary Scarborough.(Bucks County) Jacob had a daughter Phoebe Elizabth, born in 1846 in Upper Makefield, PA . Phoebe married George F Chedister (civil War ) and I am trying to trace Jacob to his father--Every Servis family seemed to have a Jacob at this time-- Could anyone help me? Bette R Hook
