Looking for the ancestry of David D. KING, b. NJ 1763, d. NY 1839. David married Catherine GASSNER 10 August 1788 at Zion Ev. Luth. Ch, Oldwick, Hunterdon, NJ, or possibly in an outlying affiliated cong., such as German Valley. David may earlier have married Margaret JEFFERS in same church 19 June 1783 as his first child George D. KING was born NJ abt. 20 Apr. 1788. Margaret may have died shortly thereafter. 2 Davids, 4 other Kings signed the original petition to form this church in 1768. One of these is likely David D's father. Have a full line of later Kings to share. Thanks!
