POULSON/MOORE
Seeking the parents of Rev. Israel POULSON, b. 1770 in NJ (possibly in Somerset Co.), d. 1856 in Headquarters, Delaware Twsp., Hunterdon Co., NJ; m. 1797 in Amwell Twsp., Hunterdon Co., Hannah MOORE. He was the Elder for the Amwell Brethren Church. It says in a published biography of him: "The parents...are unknown. He was left by them at the age of seven near Centerville [Somerset Co.], NJ where he was reared. He was bound over when a youth to a man named Jerry KING."
