Membership

The benefits of membership in the Genealogical Society of New Jersey include:

  • Three issues of the Genealogical Magazine of New Jersey and an every-name index to the volume
  • Four issues of the GSNJ Newsletter
  • 50% discount on all publications three years old and older (back issues of GMNJ excluded)
  • 25% discount on all publications less than three years old (back issues of GMNJ excluded)
  • Notices for all GSNJ events and meetings


 This society is a member of the Federation of Genealogical Societies, a confederation of more than 550 societies in the United States and Canada. Your society's membership in FGS entitles you to subscribe to the award-winning FORUM magazine at the discounted price of $15 for a year's subscription (4 issues).

New Memberships or Membership Renewals:
Complete and send in our membership form or sign-up online through our online book store.

Dues (other than life membership) are for the calendar year, January 1 through December 31. Members joining during the calendar year will receive copies of all current year publications. Send payments with order form to GSNJ Membership Services, PO Box 1476, Trenton, NJ 08607-1476.

NOTE: Dues payments by Supporting and Contributing members above the cost of an annual subscription ($40.00) are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Society also welcomes donations.

*International members must pay with an International Money Order or by personal check drawn against a U.S. bank account.
