CAPE MAY COUNTY OBITUARIES T-U-V
TAYLOR
Mrs. Anna M. Taylor, of Tuckahoe, who had been at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Frank Buxby, in this city for two weeks, died Monday. She had been in
ill health for a number of years. Death was due to chronic nephritis. Her
husband, a sea captain, was away at the time of her death. She leaves four
daughters and one son, the latter being employed at Asbury Park. Funeral
services will be held at the Head-of-the-River Church, Tuckahoe, this
afternoon.

THOMPSON
Isaac Thompson died last Wednesday night at his home, Fishing Creek,
aged 70 years. Mr. Thompson comes from an old Cape May family, and was best
known as a successful gunner and fisherman, having chaperoned many visiting
sportsmen in the pursuit of Cape May shore and sea game. He leaves a wife
and three daughters, Mrs. Coleman Cresse, of Wilmington; Miss Thompson, of
Cape May and Mrs. Dr. Lake, of Green Creek.

TICE
Mrs. Anna M. Tice, age 75 years, wife of Gilbert Tice, died a few days
ago at the soldier's home at Vineland, where she resided. She formerly
lived on West avenue, below Thirtieth street, in this city. Her husband
is an inmate of the soldiers' home at Vineland.

TOWNSEND
Cape May Court House: Mrs. Hannah Townsend, wife of William G. Townsend, who was taken to Cooper hospital, Camden,
last week to undergo an operation, died at that institution on Saturday, aged 29 years. The
funeral occurred on Monday afternoon from the residence of her brother, Captain Hand, at this
place.

VOSS
South Seaville: The funeral of Ezekiel Voss, who died on Wednesday evening, took place from his late residence
on Saturday, services being conducted at Calvary Baptist church. Mr. Voss has been a great sufferer.
A widow survives him.
