This is a photo of
Abram D. Sargent (1836-1927) He was from Freedom NH, son of
Jesse and Almira Leavitt Sargent.. He was married to
Maryanna and had one son Joseph. He was a farmer and
blacksmith. He was the 3rd recipient of the Boston Post Cane for
Freedom, NH. |

This is a photo of Estella Ida Robinson Sargent (1863-1938).
She went by the name Stella or Ida. She was the wife of Frank
Linvill Sargent of Freedom, New Hampshire. She was an
orphan but her death record states that her mother's name was
Rosalind Knox.

Frank Linvill
Sargent born June 5, 1864 in Freedom, New Hampshire the son of
Josiah and Paulina Linscott Sargent. He died May 30,
1944 in Freedom. He also lived in Brownfield and Porter Maine. His
wife was Estella Ida Robinson. He was the father of 3 children:
Flora Alice Sargent Weeks, Bertha May Sargent Libby Roberts,
and Ernest Fred Sargent. |

This is a souvenir school photo that
belonged to my grandfather, Ernest Sargent. The school was
located near the top of Godfrey Hill in Freedom but is no longer there. |

At the time this photo
was taken, about 1913, this was the home of Frank and
Stella Sargent in Freedom New Hampshire on Rice Hill.
Pictured in the photo are: left to right Percy Weeks, Frank
Sargent, unknown man, Gerald Weeks (child), Stella Sargent,
Ernest Sargent, Flora Sargent Weeks, Dana Weeks, Abram
Sargent, unknown child. The house was then the home of Ernest
and Hattie Sargent. October 23, 1986 the house was
destroyed by fire. |
