HRABIK CEMETERY

The Hrabik Cemetery is located in the Northeast Quarter of Sec 20, Twp 14, Range 13. This land adjoins the old Fisher Farm Cemetery to the west, the Bnai Abraham Cemetery to the east and the Beth Hamedrosh Hagadol to the north. It is located on So 42nd St about 1/2 mile south of Giles Road.

The deed was dated 6 Jun 1901 and was executed by Inez J. Morning, Theodore Morning and Christie A. Fisher to Marie Hrabik. The consideration was $53.00. The land was described as follows: "Commencing 100 feet East of the N.W. corner of said SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said section 20 and running thence East 100 feet, thence South 231 feet, thence West 100 feet thence North 231 feet to the place of beginning containing fifty three hundredths of an acre." The deed was filed 10 Aug 1901 in Book 34, page 228-9.

There are only two burials in the cemetery.
