Am looking to find where my grandparents lived while in Red Willow Co. They were married in McCook in February of 1894 but then moved to Iowa for five years. They returned, supposedly to McCook again, as their youngest son, Lovell, was born there March 03, 1902. Could some kind soul find a record someplace that would show where Thomas N. and Lydia Saunders lived while in Red Willow Co. Thomas' father, Wilbur, lived in or near Danbury at this time. Thank You, Mary Jane

My Grandfather Jacob Hablitzel (Frontier County) passed away and we have a stock certificate from the Red Willow Oil and Gas Company dated 1929. The face value at time of purchase was $1000.00 (ie, 100 shares at $10.00 each). I'd like to know what (if anything) happened to the Red Willow Oil and Gas Company? Also, are the any decendants of this company that might find this stock certificate of some value to them? The certificate has a gold pressed seal and two names. I think the Secretary Treasures name is Herbert Hedges and the President is C. S. Thompson. Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. I'm seeking information on great-grandmother Loda KNOWLES (Knowels) JACKSON. Loda KNOWLES married Charles W. JACKSON on 25 JUL 1895 in Maywood, Frontier Co., Nebraska. According to their marriage record, Loda's father was John H. KNOWLES, and mother was first name illegible (perhaps Lurretta) E. HUFFMAN. Loda was age 15 at time of marriage, so birth year would be . Also, she was born in Indiana. According to 1900 Census, Charles and Loda JACKSON were enumerated in Perry Precint, Red Willow Co., Nebraska. They were farmers. They had four sons: Archie Lee (b. 1896), Fred (b. 1898), Ernest N. (b. 1901),and William Dean (b. 1905). They were farmers. Family eventually moved to farm near Dickens, Lincoln Co., Nebraska. Charles and Loda divorced around 1910. Loda married Robert Rubin CHURNING. The couple lived in Kansas and Californina. They had a son, Carl Robert CHURNING (b. 1914). Charles and Loda both died in San Diego, CA area . I noticed on an old map that at one time there was a Knowles Precinct in Frontier Co., Nebraska so perhaps there's some kind of family connection to that area. Any information or a nudge in the right direction would be appreciated. Regards, Cynthia PS: If you have a mailing list, please add my name to it.
