Liewer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Linnea L. PAJERSKI of Minneapolis, Minn., beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died on Oct. 30, 2007 at the age of 90. Preceded in death by husband, Louis; infant sons, Louis and Albert; and sister, Clarice Valois. Mass of Christian Burial was held Nov. 3, 2007, at The Church of St. Thomas the Apostle in Minneapolis, Minn. Interment was at the Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota, Minn. Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel of Minneapolis, Minn. was in charge of arrangements. Claude Albert WOOD was born on Oct. 8, 1902 to Laura Ellen Edwards and Albert Martin Wood in Benkelman, Neb. He was the second of three sons. Married Emma Frances Kuhns at Ft. Morgan, Colo. on May 26, 1928. On Feb. 11, 1970 Emma passed away. Claude married Laura Sauer on June 16, 1975 and his family now included Laura's daughter, Joan. Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert and Laura; his wives, Emma and Laura; daughters, Frances Wood and Doralee Hoffler; grandson, Van Wilson; step-mother, Vica Burgett Wood; step-sisters, Cynthia Ellis, Ethel Draper, Lois Long and Margie Burgett; brothers, Earl and Glen; and many friends. Funeral services were held Nov. 5, 2007, at the First United Methodist Church in Imperial, Neb. with Pastor Kay Alnor and Martin Harmon officiating. Interment was in the Benkelman Cemetery, Benkleman, Neb. Shelly Jo MONAHAN was born June 10, 1962, in Imperial, Neb. to James A. and Carol J. (Martin) Robb. Shelly passed away Oct. 30, 2007, at her home in Imperial. She was 45 years of age. Memorial services were held Nov. 6, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church of Imperial. Private family inurnment will follow at a later date. Ray E. HENRY passed away on Nov. 4, 2007 in North Platte. He was 83 years old. Born on April 30, 1924 at Arnold to Ira M. and Alveda (Anderson) Henry. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ira and Alveda Henry; brother, Lawrence Henry; and sister, Ethel Johnson. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Gail Dwight ROWLEY, age 74, of Imperial, Neb. died Nov. 12, 2007. Born Aug. 6, 1933 to George Edward and Wilma Rowena (Waidley) Rowley in Wauneta, Neb. Entered the U. S. Navy serving in the Korean War aboard the USS Okanagen. On May 26, 1956, married JoAnne West at the Eden parsonage south of Wauneta, Neb. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Wilma; brothers, Darrell, Bobbie and George (Grover); sister, Gwendolyn Harris; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dan and Margaret West; son-in-law, James Sorensen; and brothers-in-law, Olen Loeffler and Arden (Doc) Harris. Inurnment graveside services held Nov. 17, 2007, at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial, Neb. with full military honors provided by Andrew Kinder VFW Post #4688 of Imperial with echo Taps being performed by grandchildren, Sasheena Rowley and Casey Malone. Rex HOLSCHER was born on Jan. 6, 1934 at Imperial, Neb. He was the second of three children born to Carl and Leona Bentzinger Holscher. Joined the U. S. Army in 1953. Married to Marilyn Johnson on Sept. 20, 1958 in Grant, Neb. He suffered an apparent heart attack at his home on Nov. 8, 2007. He died. He had reached the age of 73. In addition to his parents, Rex was preceded in death by his brother, Dean. Funeral services were held Nov. 13, 2007 at the Grant United Methodist Church. Interment was in the Grant Cemetery. Leona M. BREWER, age 85, formerly of Valley, Neb., died Nov. 13, 2007 in Louisville, Neb. Leona was born May 24, 1922 in Maywood, Neb. to Perry and Mina (Davison)Porter. She is preceded in death by her husband, John. Private family inurnment at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Elkhorn, Neb. Donald Dean MUNSON was born Feb. 11, 1932 at the farm home in Chase Co., NE to Bert and Alice (Benson) Munson and passed away on Nov. 10, 2007, in Lincoln, NE. at the age of 75 years, 8 months, 28 days. Married Sandra Jean Schoonover on Oct. 20, 1972. Preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Alice Munson; his brother, Jack Munson; sister-in-law, Mary Munson; brother-in-law, Jack Schoonover; sisters-in-law, Fern Schoonover and Mae Uhrich; and his parents-in-law, Jeff and Huldah Schoonover. Funeral services were held Nov. 14, 2007 at Wood-Zabka Funeral Home Chapel in Seward, Neb. Graveside service and interment with military honors were at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, Lincoln. Gerald Milton YAW was born on Aug. 19, 1920, in Champion, Neb., to Raymond William Yaw and Agnes Lavina Benson and died Nov. 17, 2007,in Denver, Colo., at the age of 87 years. On Aug. 24, 1940, married Beverly Beck at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Imperial. Preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; his parents, Raymond and Agnes; his son, Martin Craig; his brother, Elwood; and his sister, Barbara. Funeral mass held, Nov. 21, 2007 at St. Patrick's, Church in Imperial, NE. Military rites were by the Andrew Kinder VFW Post #4688, Imperial, Neb. Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial, Neb. Franklin Louis MUNSON passed away on Nov. 20, 2007, in Imperial, Neb. at the age of 91 years. Youngest child of Peter and Hulda Christina (Wise) Munson. Born on the family farm near Burnside, Iowa, on June 6, 1916. On Nov. 26, 1942 married Mary Jane Alice Garrett at the Westminster Memorial Presbyterian Church in Fort Dodge, Iowa. In 1964 his wife Mary Jane passed away. In July 1973, he married Virginia Rose Salvatore Devlin. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his brother, Clifford; and brother-in-law, Kenny Koppen. Funeral services were held Nov. 24, 2007 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Interment followed in the Dayton Cemetery. William Lewis "Pace" TYERMAN, age 88 died Nov. 15, 2007, at his home in Champion, Neb. Born on Feb. 1, 1919, to William Thomas Tyerman and Lulu Grace (Davidson) Tyerman. In 1937, at age 18, enlisted in the Navy. After WWII broke out, he re-enlisted in the US Coast guard in 1942 and was assigned to the USS Daphne, a 165 ft. submarine chaser. On Jan. 21, 1953, married Carol Jo Shrum of Dundy Co., NE. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Grace Tyerman; brother, Gene Tyerman; sister, Margaret Tyerman; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gladys and William Shrum; and sister-in-law, Alice Tyerman.
