Betty Rogers HARE died Nov 2, 2007 in Alliance, NE.  
She was 86 years old. Born Dec 16, 1920 in Davenport, Iowa to 
Wilhelmina (Anderson) and Hollis E. Rogers.  Betty and Lyle Hare 
were married on July 29, 1947. Preceded in death by her mother and 
father, brother James W. Rogers, hand Lyle and nephew Robert J. Hare.
Funeral services were Nov 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 
in Alliance.  Burial took place in Calvary Cemetery.  

Joseph H.C. BREMER, 96, of Hemingford died Nov 5, 2007.
Born Dec 19, 1910 in York, Nebraska to Orville and Nellie (Browman) Bremer.  
Served in the U.S. Navy as a Gunners Mate 2nd Class from 1942 to 1945.
On Jan 22, 1947 married Josephine E. Havranek at St. Bridget Catholic 
Church in Hemingford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death 
by his brothers, Walter, Harold, Orville and Bill, and his grandson Matthew Bremer.
Funeral services were Nov 8, 2007 at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Hemingford.  
Burial took place in the Hemingford Cemetery.  

Alliance--Phyllis “Ann” Schwaderer DONOVAN of Alliance, NE died Nov 15, 2007.  
Funeral services will be held Nov 19, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in 
Alliance. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery. Born on Mar 20, 1933 in 
Alliance, NE, daughter of Emil & Moreta “Rita” McCart Schwaderer. Preceded in 
death by her husband, Harold W. Donovan, father, Emil, sisters Edna Hayes, 
Helen Burton and Barbara Poppen, brother-in-law, Jack Sterner and companion 
of 9 years, Richard “Dick” Lewis.  

Margaret Louise SPURGIN, 87 died Nov 11, 2007. Born Nov 23, 1919 in 
Garden Co, NE to Edward and Birdie (Eggers) McCormick. Married Feb 12, 1946
to Clarence Albert “Abe” Spurgin in Chappell, NE. In addition to her parents, she 
was preceded in death by her husband, and brothers Keith, Everett and Charles.
Funeral services held Nov 14, at St. John’s Lutheran Church.  Burial in the 
Alliance Cemetery.

Agnes Mary BRUNS was born in Woodlake, Nebraska on Dec 8, 1917 to 
Tom and Catherine Jordan. Fritz Bruns and Agnes married on June 2, 1938. 
Agnes died Nov 28, 2007. Preceded in death by her husband Fritz, a son 
Fritz John, three sisters – Cele Deans, Catherine Marchant and Mary Jordan; 
and one granddaughter Cathy Bruns. Funeral services will be Dec 1, 2007 at 
10 a.m. at St. Bridget with burial in the Highland Center Cemetery in Chadron, NE.

Keith Richard LYSTER, 83, died Nov 23, 2007 in Scottsbluff, NE.
He was born Oct 11, 1924 at Lincoln, Kansas to Thomas W.D. and 
Velma E. (Bohling) Lyster. Served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WWII.  
Married Jarolene Hollon, on July 4, 1945 at San Marcos, Texas. Preceded in 
death by his parents, 1 brother, his son-in-law, Daniel Hunter, and his 
granddaughter, Hanna Wickard. Funeral services were held Nov 28, 2007
at the First Presbyterian Church.  Burial with military rites were at the 
Alliance Cemetery.  

Bessie BECKER, 98 died Nov 27, 2007 in Oregon City, Oregon.
Bessie Valentine Thompson was born in Carthage County, IL on Feb 14, 1909.  
Bess married Dick Becker in 1929.  They had a son who died in infancy at the 
age of three months, and a daughter Dixie.  Dick preceded her in death in 1987.
A memorial service will be held Dec 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church.  
A graveside service will be at the Alliance Cemetery. 

Reva M. OSBORN passed away on Oct 23, 2007 after a brief illness. 
Born April 16, 1925 in Sullivan Co., Missouri. Preceded by her husband 
Stanley A. Osborn, her parents, Clyde & Verle Yardley and her brothers, 
Marvin and Theron Yardley and sisters-in-law Elva and Margot.
A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held on Dec 1, 2007
at 11:00 am, First Congregational Church on the Green, Norwalk, Conn.
