Born on the family farm north of Cozad, Nebraska, on Dec 7, 1915, to Vinal and Anna (Buckley) McVicker. On Sept 15, 1936,married Harold J. Kaufman in Gothenburg, NE. He died Mar 13, 2002. Preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Patsy Novicki; brother, Robert McVicker; and sister, Lucille Dillon. A Mass of Christian burial was held Mar 8, 2007, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Elm Creek. Interment was at the Cozad Cemetery. Marie Louisa PETERS, 96, of Cozad, NE, died Mar 5, 2007. Born on the family homestead near the small community of Baker, north of Spencer, NE, on Aug 5, 1910, to Bruno and Louisa (Korth) Boettcher. On Sept 3, 1932, married Orville Quinten Peters at West Point, Nebraska. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Orville; and siblings Bernhard, William, John "Bud," Martha, Irene, Ann, Agnes, and Irma. Services: Mar 10, 2007 at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel in Cozad. Burial was in the Cozad Cemetery. Marie CONYERS, 89, of Lexington, NE, died Mar 6, 2007 in Lexington. Born Jan 15, 1918, at Hildreth, NE, to John and Mienje (Flesner) Quadhamer. Marriage to Cecil Conyers on Nov 25, 1939, at Smith Center, Kansas. Preceded in death, in addition to her husband, by her parents; one daughter, Lois Racek; one granddaughter, Teresa Racek; five brothers; and five sisters. Her body was cremated. Memorial service was Mar 9, 2007 at the Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington. Inurnment was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Andrew Christopher SCHMIDT, 24, of Omaha, NE, died Mar 7, 2007 in Papillion, Nebraska, of complications from Cystic Fibrosis. Born Dec 17, 1982, in Omaha to Dan and Rhonda Schmidt. Services were: Mar 10, 2007, at the West Center Chapel in Omaha. Inurnment at a later date. June REYNOLDS, 87, of Lexington, NE, died Mar 11, 2007in Kearney, NE. Born June 27, 1919, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Joseph Leo and Levona Ellen (Busch) Gleeson. Marriage to Charles Marlin Reynolds on April 6, 1940 in Omaha, NE. The couple were blessed with six children. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marlin in 2003; and brother, Joseph. Services : Mar 15, 2007 at Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Eldon "John" HOOBLER, 64, of Lexington, NE, died Mar 12, 2007 in Lincoln, Nebraska, after an extended battle with kidney disease. Born Novr 23, 1942, in Taylor, Nebraska, to Ray H. and Maxine K. (Raph) Hoobler. Married to Betty Lou Gehrman on April 14, 1985. Preceded in death by his parents.
