Preceded in death by her husband, Christian Finke, in 1998; son-in-law, Gary Vogt; infant brother, Harold Johnson; brother, Herman Johnson; and sister, Bessie Noler. HODGKIN, 64, Hot Springs Village, Ark., formerly Fremont, died Feb. 24, 2007, in Hot Springs, Ark. Born April 5, 1942, to Durward A. and Margaret (Luethje) Hodgkin in Goehner. Served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1960 to 1964. Graduated from Bryan Hospital Nursing School, Lincoln, and served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1975 as a nurse anesthetist. On April 7, 1984, he married Jane O'Neal in Denver, Colo. Preceded in death by his parents, Durward and Margaret Hodgkin; and brother, Larry Hodgkin; and his first wife, Diane. Born Aug. 8, 1924, to Charles J. and Daisy E. (Baumgardner) Gubser in Ulysses. She graduated from Ulysses High School and received resident nurse certification from Lincoln General Hospital. On Dec. 31, 1945, she married Robert Emil Semler. Preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Gubser; sister, Mary Marr; and granddaughter, Kendra Semler. Funeral services were private.
