Served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1954. Preceding him in death were his parents, sister, granddaughter, and an uncle. TORRINGTON, Wyo. - Larry G., RYAN, 66, died Mar 11, 2007 at his home. Funeral service was on Mar 14 at the Community Presbyterian Church in Lingle, Wyo. Born on Dec. 26, 1940 in Scottsbluff, the son of Eli and Nettie (Godbey) Ryan. Larry is survived by his wife: Theil of Torrington; his son: Shawn of Lingle; and a brother and sister-in-law: Bruce and Terry Ryan of Thornton, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Patricia Loos; and an infant sister: Betty. Suez Ann GARNER, 45 of Scottsbluff died Feb. 27, 2007. Burial to follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering with military honors by the Nebraska National Guard. Born Nov. 10, 1923 in Gering. Married Patricia Jane Rooney in 1944 at an Air Force Chapel in Montgomery, Ala. He served the U. S. Air Force during WW II and the Korean War. Preceded in death by his wife: Patricia Jane; and his parents: Jesse Entrekin and Georgia Cross Entrekin. GERING - Clinton W. STODDARD, 88, of Gering, died Feb. 28, 2007. Funeral services were, Mar 6, 2007 at the Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at the Hull Community in Banner County. Born June 16, 1918 in Gering to Charles Clarence and Harriet Hazel (Kelley) Stoddard. Married Myrna Spahr Sept. 1, 1941 in Banner County and she preceded him in death in December of 1984. Married Helen (Nagel) Green on Jan. 12, 1987 in Mitchell. His first wife; parents; brothers: Clarence, Lloyd, and Dean Stoddard; and sisters: Olive Joy and Mary Beth Stoddard preceded him in death. MITCHELL - Andrew LANDEN, 93, long time North Platte Valley resident, passed away Feb. 27, 2007. Funeral service was March 3, 2007 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. Interment was in the West Lawn Cemetery in Gering with military honors provided by Nebraska National Guard. Born Jan. 1, 1914, to Gotthard O. and Jennie (Johnson) Landen on the family farm ten miles north of Greeley, Neb. He and Fay Eutsler were married Dec. 23, 1946. Preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Ella and Emma (Vanosdall); and brothers: Oscar, Gus, Nels, and John. GERING - Maurice D. WILLIAMS, 79 of Gering, died Feb. 27, 2007. A memorial service was held Mar 5, 2007 at West Way Christian Church. Inurnment followed at West Lawn Cemetery. At his request, he was cremated. Born on Oct. 15, 1927 in Pawnee City, Neb. to Richard and Cuba (Fields) Williams. Entered the U.S. Army on Dec. 5, 1945 serving during WW II. Married June Boyd on May 28, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nev. Preceded in death by his parents; and brother and sister-in-law: Daryl and Janet Williams. AURORA, Colo. - David A. ARMSTRONG, 15, of Aurora, died Mar 22, 2007 at Children's Hospital in Denver. GERING - Ella M. MYERS died Mar 26, 2007. Funeral services: Mar 30, 2007 at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Scottsbluff. Interment at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. Gering Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Ella was born on June 23, 1913, in Springfield, Neb., to Lewis and Mary (Mohr) Olderog. She grew up on a farm, the youngest of five children. Married a college classmate, George R. Myers, in 1932. Preceded in death by three sisters: Henrietta Cain, Clara Dunn, and Marie Toft; one brother: Herman Olderog; and one grandson: Steve Myers. GERING - Edna SCHAUB, 87 of Gering, died Mar 19, 2007. Her funeral service was March 23 at the Gering Zion Church. Interment was at West Lawn Cemetery. Born on Oct. 11, 1919 in Gering to John and Mary (Kerbs) Schaub. Survivors include her brothers: Daniel Schaub and Ben and wife Joyce Schaub, both of Gering; her sisters: Mary and husband Fred Gross and Pauline Schwindt, both of Gering; and six nieces. Burial of ashes will follow at the West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. June Erline Roudebush was born on Aug. 17, 1919, in Bayard to Jacob Clarence and Eltha Valeria (McConkey) Roudebush. On Mar 30, 1950, in Alliance June and Charles W. Shrader were united in marriage. Preceded in death by her mother, father, and three brothers: Gordon, Miles and Leonard; and one sister: Elva Lane. MITCHELL - Leah EICHMAN, 98, died Mar 18, 2007. Funeral was held Mar 21, 2007 at the Jones Mortuary Chapel in Mitchell. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Born Sept. 7, 1908, in Wellington, Colo., the daughter of Henry and Katherine (Cook) Hoff. Married to Alexander Eichman Jan. 17, 1929, in Scottsbluff. To this union four children were born. Alexander died in 1952. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; son: Roland; brother: Henry Hoff; sisters: Mollie Becker, Dolly Weitzel, Bertha Hettinger, and Rosie Becker; and great-granddaughter: Lindsay Hughson. Born June 3, 1917, in Peoria, Ill. to William and Myrtle (Reed) Krofft. Married Robert Hartley Feb. 1, 1951, in Terre Haute, Ind. moving to Gering in March of 2005. Preceding her in death were her parents; sons: Robert and Harold Phillips; John Hartley; as well as two brothers and three sisters. SCOTTSBLUFF - Jacob "Jake" HALER, 86 of Scottsbluff, died Mar 13, 2007. A graveside service was held Mar 19, 2007 at West Lawn Cemetery. Military honors were conducted by the Nebraska National Guard. Born on Nov. 30, 1920 in Scottsbluff to Carl and Kathryn E. (Maul) Haler. He entered the U.S. Army on July 1, 1942 and served during WWII through five campaigns (Tunisia, Rome-Arno, Naples-Foggia, Northern Appennines and Po Valley, receiving five stars. Married Laura Mae Loud on Mar 13, 1946 in Gering. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers: Pete, John, Henry, Herman, Carl, and Fred Haler; and sister: Annie Elizabeth Sell. GERING - Clara Mae PRICE, 87, of Gering, died Mar 15, 2007. Funeral services were Mar 19, 2007 at Central Church of Christ in Gering. Interment was in West Lawn Cemetery. Born Nov. 18, 1919 near Puxico, Missouri to Curtis A. and Rose Caroline (Behymer) Kinnaman. Married Dewey Price on June 12, 1941 in Grant, Neb.
