Catherine M. LUMMEL, 88, of West Point died June 28, 2007. Mass of Christian burial was July 2, 2007, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial was at St. Michael's Cemetery. Burial was in St. Matthew's Cemetery, south of Wisner. Military honors were by Wisner VFW Post #5767 and American Legion Post #85. Don died on June 26, 2007, at the Norfolk Veterans Home in Norfolk. Carol A. SCHLUETER, of rural Hooper, died June 26, 2007 in Omaha. The funeral was June 29, 2007, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Scribner. The burial was in the Scribner Cemetery. Johnny William NEIMANN, III, 70, of Beemer, died June 28, 2007 at his farm home. Funeral services were July 1, 2007, at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. Alta P. DAHLQUIST, 89, Dubuque, Iowa, died July 2, 2007. Services were July 5, 2007, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Dubuque, Iowa. Burial was at Mamre Cemetery Stanton, Iowa. Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home, Dubuque, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her son David Lee (Mary Ubi'nas) Dahlquist of Des Moines, Iowa; a daughter Joan (Jonathan Brown) Dahlquist of Dubuque and three grandsons. Funeral services for Marian MINARICK, 95, of Snyder, were July 2, 2007 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Snyder. Burial was in St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery. She died on June 29, 2007 in Dodge. Survivors include a daughter Anna Mae and Clarence Eikmeier of Dodge, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. John Christ JAHNKE died on June 13, 2007. The family will host a gathering for family and friends at St. Joseph's Retirement Center in West Point, on July 14, 2007. Survivors include three sisters Laura Zimmerman, Alverna Engelbart and Lenora Jahnke, all of West Point; children Jeanette and Ken Hobelman of Nebraska, Arna and Art Farabee of Oklahoma, Lynn and Karen Jahnke of Iowa, Cheryl and Lyle Pinkley of Arkansas, Kevin and Patricia Jahnke of Oklahoma and Collin Jahnke of Arkansas; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services for James OSWALD, 75, of Beemer, July 27, 2007 at the Beemer Mennonite Church in Beemer. Private family burial will be in the Beemer Cemetery.
