Born Dec. 30, 1936, to Henry and Emma (Fujan) Kadavy in Weston. He attended Weston Public School and later received his GED while serving in the U. S. Army. Married Rose Marie Bohaty on Aug. 29, 1962 at St. John's Catholic Church in Weston. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Julius, Raymond and Eugene Kadavy and sisters, Gabriela Fueling and Elaine Zegers. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, July 6 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Lincoln. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park in Lincoln. Born on Mar 25, 1920 to Andrew and Josephine Munson in Anoka. She was raised in Bassett where she attended local schools. She went to North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, Minn., where she graduated in 1941. It was there she met Melvin Jennings. They married on June 20, 1941. Her parents, her husband, her daughter, Marian Melbourne, and siblings, Warren Munson, Ray Munson and Dorothy Maas, preceded her in death. BEHRENS, 87, of Yutan, died July 10, 2007 in Omaha. Corine was born July 29, 1919, to Edwin and Della (Owen) Williamson at Memphis. She grew up in Memphis and graduated from Ashland High School. On Jan. 15, 1938, she married Alvin Behrens at Papillion. Her husband, four sisters and one brother preceded her in death. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Virginia Behrens; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Allen Rowell, and daughter, Sharon Piper, all of Yutan; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Yutan. Interment will be at Hollst Lawn Cemetery in Yutan. (Spicka) Cerny in Wahoo. Served his country from 1951 to 1953 in the U. S. Navy. On June 20, 1953, he married Mary Ann Ohnoutka in Weston. His parents and his wife preceded him in death. Born Oct. 19, 1937, to John P. and Edna R. (Heddinghaus) Schumann at Keota, Iowa. Married Herman Kadlec on Nov. 14, 1964 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Hopkinton, Iowa. They lived in the Weston and Malmo. Her parents, a sister, Frieda Schumann, and a grandson, Francis Luke Meduna, preceded her in death. ABIE - Ernie KUCERA, 87, of Abie, died July 9, while fishing at Homestead Lake near Abie. Born Sep. 24, 1919, to John and Mary (Nemec) Kucera in Linwood. On Sept. 22, 1940, he married Mildred Stuchl at St. John's Lutheran Church in Schuyler. Ernie had his own Polka Band and was known throughout the country. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, 12 brothers, Andrew, Tom, Blazej, Jim, Louis, Adolph, Joe, Frank, Leo, Leonard, Albin (Beanie) and Edward and three sisters, Agnes Hovorka, Mary Rezac and Lillian Codr. Born Dec. 31, 1943, to Arnold and Martha (Peters) Lierman in Salem, Ore. He was a Vietnam Marine Veteran. His parents and an infant son precede him in death. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Virginia Brannam Ziegler. He is survived by his wife Eloise Lovelace White, whom he married in 1986; daughter Susan Zielger Prokupek; son Reed and daughter-in-law Christina; four grandchildren Steven, David, Jason and Courtney; sister Mary Alice Merritt; step son Thomas White and wife Karen; step daughter Paulette White Cagle and her husband, Earl and their seven children.
