In Sioux City, she met her husband, Floyd Peterson, and they were married on May 5, 1946. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd; three brothers, Arnold Pomeroy, Ron Pomeroy and Neyron "Jack" Pomeroy; and a sister, Bessie Pomeroy. Larry H. COOK, 66, of Sioux City, formerly of Norfolk, Neb., passed away Feb. 15, 2007, at his residence under Hospice care following a battle with cancer. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Morningside Lutheran Church. Born on May 25, 1940, in Venus, Neb., the son of Wesley and Twila (Bradley) Cook. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in April 1962. Married Marlyce Swanson on Oct. 18, 1964, in Wausa, Neb. Preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Florence Swanson; and a brother, Bruce Cook. Virgil Henry DITTMAN, 85, of Sioux City died Feb. 13, 2007. Memorial services: Feb. 17, 2007 at Christy-Smith Larkin Northside Chapel. Born Oct. 3, 1921, in Ponca, Neb., the son of Henry and Clara (Kamrath) Dittman. Graduated from Ponca High School in 1938. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II as a signal corpsman and served in the European Theater. Married June M. Faber on June 28, 1948 in Omaha. M. Marilyn HATHAWAY, 70, of Sioux City passed away Feb. 18, 2007. Services will be 10:30 a.m. today at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Cremation will follow the service Friday. Graveside services in Logan Park Cemetery. Born Feb. 18, 1937, in Lincoln, Neb. In 1948, she moved with her mother to Sioux City, where she graduated from Central High School. Married James W.
