In May 2001, Kristi Kreuscher, Grand-daughter of Erma Kammerer, was kind enough to allow me to borrow and copy several pictures of "old" Republican City. These old photos are a part of Erma Cassell Kammerer's collection. They are priceless glimpses of the old town that was moved to make room for the building of the Harlan County Dam in the 1950's. Thank you Kristi for allowing me to publish these great photos belonging to your late Grandmother, Erma Kammerer.
