IMPROVED COTTON GIN BRUSH AND WIPER

As Patented by H. A. Walker, dated March 26, 1878

L. J. WALKER, Assignee of the Patent in North Carolina

This contract witnesseth that HERRON & PORTER of the County of Mecklenburg, State of North Carolina, has, this day, paid L. J. Walker, the sum of Ten dollars for the Privilege of using "The Improved Cotton gin Brush and Wiper" on one gin on his Farm in the State of North Carolina, until, March 1895, and the said Herron & Porter hereby Covenants that he will not make or furnish, sell or give away the said "Improved Cotton Gin Brush and Wiper" to any one else, nor use the same in any other manner than on his own Farm, nor use more than one of the Brushes or Wipers on his said Farm.
