I suspect that this is the William Hinshaw, son of Jesse, born 9/16/1902,

and listed in Hinshaw's Quaker records p. 749, at Marlborough MM. If so, he

is presumably called William Junr. in the census to distinguish him from

another older William, not however his father. The children's names as

listed in Hinshaw don't exactly match insofar as the census names seem in

some cases to be middle names, but the dates do correspond nicely. William

Hinshaw, son of Jesse and Eunice, was received at Deep River MM from

Marlborough in 1822, and married Hannah Mendenhall at Deep River MM on 1824,

9.16. They moved to Marlborough in 1825.

oldest child, Margaret. Thomas condemned his marriage out of unity at

Marlborough on 1820,5,6. William, Thomas and Calvin, and Susannah and

daughters Eleanor and Susanna were received by request in 1841.
