MILITARY LAND WARRANT BOOK The original volume of the Military Land Warrant Book_ is in the North Carolina Archives, but it has also been microfilmed  That microfilm is in the Archives microfilm room and is available to researchers. The Archives will sell a copy of that film... KEEPERS OF THE HEARTH - This is a cookbook complied by Marilyn Wright and Anne Wright. It consists of recipes that are based on records and ledgers taken from families that are connected with the Mill Prong House in Hoke County. Marilyn Wright states that these recipes are very much of how cooking was done in southeast NC.
