Noble Jesse Gibson


Noble Jesse Gibson, 60, of Sylva Rt. 2, died Saturday afternoon in a Sylva Hospital after a brief illness.

He was a native of Haywood County.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Dorothy Chambers Gibson; the mother, Mrs. Viola Gibson; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Ball of Baden, Mrs. Bruce Joslin and Mrs. Dessie Howell of Waynesville; and a brother, Mr. Wesley Gibson of Waynesville.

Services were held this morning in the chapel of Garrett Funeral Home.

The Rev. O. P. Ledford and the Rev. John Finger officiated. Burial was in the Dellwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cliff Rich, Ralph and Tommy Prevost, Joe Hill, Roy Scott, and Ralph Hall.
