Last Rites for Joshua Allison Set For Today
Waynesville Feb. 22 (Special)
Joshua H. Allison, well-known farmer and a Confederate veteran, died early this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. V.R. Evans, of Dellwood. Mr. Allison would have been 90 years old on March 2. He had been ill for the past six weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Dellwood Methodist Church.
Mr Allison is survived by two sons, William E. & Charles R. Allison, of Waynesville: five daughters, Mrs. Erwin Reno of Canton, Mrs. Evans and Mrs. M. F. Howell, Mrs. Jessie Caldwell and Mrs. L.W. Hall, all of Waynesville; and a brother, M. H. Allison. A large number of grandchildren also survive.
