Reunion, to be held Saturday, June 21, 2003 at YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, NC


February 2003 status:


The first-ever national Frady Family Reunion is fast-approaching! The event will be held at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, North Carolina on Saturday, June 21, 2003.
Black Mountain is about 15 minutes east of Asheville, just off Interstate 40.

After the initial Reunion mailing, about 300 responses were received from all over the United States and internationally! Wow, what a huge interest! And now it's time to continue with the preparations in anticipation of the big day. A fun and interesting itinerary is being planned for the Reunion.
On Saturday, June 21st, we expect to start the event with check-in during late morning, include a delicious catered onsite lunch, continue with several presentations and a snack break in the afternoon, and then conclude in the early evening with free time and a talent show.

Directions to YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly:

- From I-40 east of Asheville, take exit 64 for "Black Mountain".
- Turn onto Hwy 9 South.
- Drive 0.3 miles and bear right onto Blue Ridge Rd (do NOT follow Hwy 9 to left)
- Drive 0.9 miles on Blue Ridge Road, turn left onto Blue Ridge Assembly Drive (small sign on left side of Blue Ridge Rd)
- Drive 0.4 miles to main entrance for Blue Ridge Assembly, take driveway on right side.
- Drive 0.7 miles on entrance road to parking area in front of Blue Ridge Center (rock building with blue roof).
-The Reunion will be held in Washburn Auditorium
- if you are facing Blue Ridge Center, Washburn is to the left of that building.
