Services for Claude Allison, 60, of Route 2, Cove Creek, Waynesville, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Garrett Funeral Home in Waynesville. He died Sunday in Haywood County Hospital.

The Rev. Carl Cook and the Rev. Larry Rice will officiate. Burial will be in Garrett-Hillcrest Cemetery.

He was a native of Haywood County and the son of Henry Allison of Waynesville and Rosabella Conard of Asheville.

He was a retired employee of Dayco Rubber Co. He was a member of the Cove Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving, other than his parents, are his wife, Margie Lee Jenkins Allison; two daughters, Cora Lee Allison Sheehan of Waynesville and Claudette Allison of the home; two sons, Lewis Lee Allison of Waynesville and Robert Lee Allison of the home; five brothers, Johnny, Ernest, Clifford, Harold Lee and Bobby Conard, all of Asheville; three sisters, Hattie Ramsey of Waynesville, Helen Allison and Geniva Allison Stevenson of Waynesville.

Pallbearers will be Johnny, Ernest, Clifford, Harold Lee, and Bobby Conard and the Rev. Larry Rice.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
