Bazemore House

Bazemore House

Bazemore House - built in the late 1700s, it is Lewiston-Woodville's oldest structure, and our only example of a coastal cottage. Donated to Historic Woodville in 2002, restoration has begun on this house that has been home to the Martin, Thompson, Pugh, and Bazemore families. The interior retains its original center hall plan, flat paneled wainscots, six flat-paneled doors, three-part molded surround, and one Federal mantel with decorative inset panels.
