   GRAHAM — Mrs. Nina Thompson Arnette, 90, of 512 Moore’s Chapel Cemetery Road, died at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000, at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington.
   A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Mr. William H. “Bill” Arnette, who survives, and the daughter of Mr. Claude H. Thompson and Mrs. Belle Stafford Thompson, both deceased. She was a homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star, Battle of Alamance Chapter and a member of the Homemakers Club. She attended Elon College, and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
   Survivors other than her husband of the home include one son, Mr. William T. “Tom” Arnette of Leesburg, Va.; five sisters, Mrs. Zona Whigham of San Diego, Mrs. Bonnie Mauro, Mrs. Mabel Lloyd, Mrs. Mildred Love and Mrs. Myrtle Godfrey, all of Graham; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
   The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethel United Methodist Church by the Rev. Randy Blanchard, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
   The family will be at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Maybell Morris Ashby
   BURLINGTON — Mrs. Maybell Morris Ashby, 65, died at 3:55 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2001, at LaSalle Healthcare Center in Durham after several years of declining health.
   A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Mr. Icy Hubert Morris and Mrs. Elsie Payne Morris, both deceased. She was a caregiver to the homebound. She was a Baptist.
   Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Naomi M. Kirby and Mrs. Frances M. Baker, both of Burlington; and two brothers, Mr. Franklin D. Morris of Burlington and Mr. Everett C. Morris of Baltimore.
   She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Becky M. Allison; and a brother, Mr. Sidney Morris.
   The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Buddy Baker.
   The family will be at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening and at other times at the home of a brother, Mr. Franklin Morris, 2730 Lenore Drive, Burlington.

Mr. Jerry Vance Barbee
   MEBANE — Mr. Jerry Vance Barbee, 63, of 3058 Calloway Drive, Mebane, N.C., died Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 10:40 a.m. at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell following one year declining and two months critical illness.
   A native of Alamance County, he was husband of Mrs. Tina Wood Barbee, and son of the late Lawrence Ross Barbee and Bernice Hupp Barbee Honeycutt. Mr. Barbee was an U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. A retired Burlington Police Officer, he served as Line Sergeant and Sergeant in the CID Unit. He was promoted to Lieutenant over the Juvenile Division and served as Lieutenant in the Patrol Division. He served as President of the Juvenile Association and was the first trained officer in the area to perform Forensic Hypnosis.
   Surviving other than his wife of the home are two daughters, Miss Lauren Vanessa Barbee of the home, and Ms. Karis Barbee of Cincinnati, Ohio; a son, Mr. Ross Barbee of Graham; stepfather, Mr. John P. Honeycutt of Burlington; a brother, Mr. David Honeycutt of Gibsonville; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death other than his parents, by a brother, Mr. Lawrence Ross Barbee Jr.
   Services will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, at Bethel United Methodist Church in Snow Camp with the Rev. LuAnn Charlton, and the Rev. Howard Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trust Fund for Lauren Vanessa Barbee, c/o State Employees Credit Union, P.O. Box 675, Mebane, N.C. 27302, or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.

   ELON COLLEGE — Mr. William Ross Beckom, 77, of 3443 Osceola Road, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at Jefferson Care Center in Yanceyville.
   A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Mrs. Ruth Troxler Beckom, and the son of Mr. Ernest Tingen Beckom, and Mrs. Bertha Ross Beckom. He was retired from Copeland Fabrics and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
   Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ruth Beckom Durham of Greenville, S.C., and Mrs. Frances Jean Beckom Kellam of Burlington; and two brothers, Mr. Benjamin Beckom and Mr. Curtis Beckom, both of Burlington.

   GRAHAM — Mr. Raymond Harris Braxton, 86, of 7519-B Lindley Mill Road, died at 2:35 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 1999, after four years of failing health and a critical illness of two weeks.
   A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Mrs. Madge Hargrove Braxton, who survives, and the son of Mr. Oscar C. Braxton and Mrs. Bertha Harris Braxton, both deceased. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
   Survivors other than his wife of the home include a son, Mr. John W. Braxton of Graham, two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. Junius W. Braxton.

   BURLINGTON — Mrs. Era “Brownie” Wigington Cantrell, 66, of 908 Boone Road, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, at her home after several months of failing health.
   A native of Rockingham County, she was the wife of Mr. Charlie James Cantrell, who survives, and the daughter of Mrs. Rosa Shuff Wigington Collins, who survives, and the late Mr. Randolph Jeffries Wigington.
   Survivors other than her husband of the home and mother of Graham include five daughters, Mrs. Denise Shotwell, Mrs. Donna Buchanan, Mrs. Debbie Joyce and Ms. Carol Atkins, all of Burlington, and Mrs. Dianne Meeks of Gibsonville; four sons, Mr. Richard James Cantrell and Mr. Phillip Van Cantrell, both of Burlington, and Mr. Kenneth Jefferson Cantrell and Mr. Charles Wayne Cantrell, both of Elon College; five sisters, Mrs. Hazel Overman of Ramseur, Mrs. Marie Carden of Graham, and Mrs. Virginia Hefner and Mrs. Linda Raize, both of Burlington; three brothers, Mr. Hughes Wigington of Graham, Mr. Ray Wigington of Stoneville and Mr. Mason Wigington of Haw River; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her triplet sisters, Mrs. Eva Lindley and Mrs. Vera Penn; and a grandchild.

Bobby "Pete" Edmond Coggins
   SNOW CAMP Bobby "Pete" Edmond Coggins, 67, of 5611 Snow Camp Road, died at 8:55 a.m. Thursday [05-19-2005] at Hospice Home, after three months failing health and two weeks critical illness.
   The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bethel United Methodist Church in Snow Camp, conducted by the Rev. LuAnn Charlton and the Rev. Rose Connor. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
   He was born on Jan. 31, 1938, in Alamance County. He was a loving husband and father, a man with a generous spirit who loved to held his friends and neighbors. He worked for the Department of Transportation for 28 years.
   He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patsy Coble Coggins of the home; daughters, Kim Coggins of Durham and Ginger (Ed) Smith of Siler City; sisters, Shirley Foust of Graham and Vicky Robbins of Clarkton; uncle Robert Petty of Burlington.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, James London Coggins and Edna Riggs Coggins and sister Barbara Kivett.
   Visitation will be held in the fellowship hall one hour prior to the service at the church.

   She was born in Alamance County, daughter of the late Robert Lee Foust and the late Mary Jane McPherson Foust. She was a retired textile employee and a member of Bellemont United Methodist Church.
   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Russell Cook and 10 brothers and sisters.
   She is survived by daughter Miss Judy Kay Cook of the home; son Mr. Michael Russell Cook and wife Page of Graham; grandchildren, Russell "Rusty" Cook and Mary Kathryn Cook.

   GRAHAM — Mrs. Elsie Thompson Coveney, 86, of 550 Glenwood Ave., died at 10:45 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at Genesis Eldercare in Mooresville after an illness of three years, one month critical. She was a former resident of 873 Moore’s Chapel Cemetery Road in Graham.
   A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Brooks S. Coveney, and the daughter of Mr. John Thompson and Mrs. Sally Petty Thompson, both deceased. She was retired from Sellars Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Golden Agers Senior Citizens Group.
   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sallie Wayne (Robert) Thompson of Mooresville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

    BURLINGTON — Gilmer Crews, 97, of 112 Pine Ridge Lane, died Wednesday [10-10-2002] at the residence.
   The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Citty Funeral Home Chapel in Reidsville. Burial will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church.
   A native of Chatham, Va., he was a son of the late Thomas Lee and Molly Elizabeth Moore Crews, and had lived in Ruffin before moving to Richmond Va. in 1960. Mr. Crews was a retired farmer and he retired from the City of Richmond. He was a member of Mayfield Baptist Church.
   He was preceded in death by his wives, Ora Alice Matherly Crews and Doris Guthrey Crews; a son, Douglas Gilmer Crews; and two daughters, Joyce Marie Crews and Rena C. Davis.
   Surviving are three sons, Charley Edd Crews of Gloucester, Va., and George Thomas Crews and Curtis Lee Crews, both of Burlington; two daughters, Stella C. Strader of Huntersville and Frances C. Ford of Richmond, Va.; a brother, Beverly Crews of Richmond; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Henry Howard “Smokey” Danieley
   GRAHAM — Henry Howard “Smokey” Danieley, 73, of 632 Wendy Drive, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001, at Duke University Medical Center after a brief illness.
   A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Elizabeth “Lib” Mullins Danieley, who survives, and the son of Henry Hubbard and Grace Mansfield Danieley, both deceased.
   He was a contractor and past chairman of the Alamance County Republican Party. He was a life member of the Jaycees where he was the recipient of the SPOKE Award. He assisted with the organization of the Caswell County Rescue Squad and was retired from the A.O. Volunteer Fire Department where he served on the Board of Directors. He was a member of the Alamance County School Facilities Board and the N.C. Code Officials Board. He held all five N.C. Contractors licenses. He was a member of the Alamance County Seniors Golf Association and was an avid baseball fan. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where he was assistant Sunday school superintendent and choir member.
   Survivors other than his wife of the home include two sons, Dan Danieley and his wife, Terri, of Elon; and Stephen Michael Danieley of Swepsonville; one daughter, Ms. Joan Danieley of Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Frances (Charles) Wood of Elon and Mrs. Faye (Thomas) Conally of Burlington; one brother, Dr. J. Earl Danieley and his wife, Verona, of Elon; and two grandchildren, Jacob and Grace Danieley.
   He was preceded in death by his wife, Vernell Cantrell Danieley.
   The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethel United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charlie Litzenberger, pastor, with the Rev. C. Max Allman, pastor of People’s Memorial Christian Church, assisting. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
   The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence.

   BURLINGTON - Mrs. Rena Maude Iseley Danieley, 79, of 3654 Burch Bridge Road died Friday [06-14-1991] at Duke Medical Center in Durham.
   Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethel United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
   A native of Alamance County, she was a retired teacher, a member of First Christian Church, a graduate of Elon College. She received her master's degree from Appalachian State University. She was the former director of financial aid and placement at Elon College, a charter member and president of the local chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma for Women Teachers, a charter member of Union Ridge Saddle Club and a director of Alamance County Historical Museum. She was active in the farm bureau at local and state levels, and was appointed to the N.C. Board of Agriculture in 1987.
   Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Beulah Kay Danieley Short of Burlington; brother, Allen A. Iseley of Burlington; one grandson.
   The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence of Mrs. Beulah Kay Short, 3660 Burch Bridge Road.

   A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Horace Ellington and the daughter of Mr. Daniel Luther Foust and Mrs. Zolabell McPherson Foust, both deceased. She was retired from Jefferies Sock Inc.
   Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Susan Ellington of Cary; three sons, Mr. Darrell Ellington of Le Claire, Iowa, Mr. Michael Ellington of Kerrville, Texas, and Mr. Larry Ellington of Burlington; three sisters, Mrs. Fran Jervis and Mrs. Helen Johnson, both of Long Beach, and Mrs. Margaret Gabard of Yadkinville; a brother, Mr. D. L. Foust of Snow Camp; and five grandchildren.

   WILMINGTON — Mrs. Mary Frazier Ellington, 50, of 6715 Carolina Beach Road, died at 8:15 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2001, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington after several years of failing health.
   A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Mr. Harold M. Ellington, who survives, and the daughter of the late Mr. Ervin Stencil “Blackie” Frazier and Mrs. Hilda Kizer Frazier, who survives. She was a Baptist.

    A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Robert P. and Flossie Wright Braxton, both deceased. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, a member of the church choir, a former pianist, a member of the Methodist Women and a Sunday school teacher. She was past president of the Memorial Association of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was a former bookkeeper and homemaker.
   Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Foust Harding of Florence, S.C.; two sons, William Michael Foust of Greensboro and Gary Braxton Foust of Elon; one sister, Mrs.Edith Braxton Terry of Siler City/Greensboro; and five grandchildren.
   The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Clark Barfield, pastor, will officiate.

He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, where he served on various committees. He was a retired member of the Graham Fire Department.

   A native of Caswell County, he was the son of Mr. Sidney Thomas Fuqua and Mrs. Nora Rudd Fuqua, both deceased. He was a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Clayton, all of Burlington; one great-grandchild, Madison of Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. N. Doris Johnson of Naples, Fla., and Mrs. Naomi M. Capps of Burlington; and a special friend and caregiver, Mrs. Dorothy Pratt.
   She was preceded in death by one sister, Mae W. McPherson; and six brothers, Coy McPherson, Homer McPherson, Bobbie McPherson, Willard McPherson, Raymond McPherson and Ben McPherson.

   BURLINGTON- Edward Teague "Tig" Gross of 2342 Atwood Drive, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at Hospice Home, Burlington.

   Mr. Gross was born in Alamance County. He worked 39 years for Lucent Technologies, during which time he was also an ABC officer. After retirement, Mr. Gross worked with the Stearns Auto Group. Mr. Gross served his country during the Korean conflict with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church Memorial Association.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Cecil Gross and Ruby Teague Gross and brothers, Harold Holt Gross and Banks Lea "Buddy" Gross.

He was also a Fellow in the College of Chaplains. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

   He was a native of Alamance County and retired from Huffman Oil Co. He was a member of the Hebron United Methodist Church and was a life member of the Memorial Association at Bethel United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
   He is survived by two daughters, Ms. Vonda Whitley and Mrs. Ronald (Amy) Pattillo, both of Burlington; a son, Mr. Gary Dean Hogan of Mebane; two sisters, Mrs. Margie Sykes f Burlington, and Mrs. Gladys Shore of Haw River; and four grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Jackson Hogan and Sally Tapp Hogan.
   A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Marvin Simpson, pastor of Kerrs Chapel Baptist Church.

She was retired from The University of Chapel Hill Caduceus Medical Book Store and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

   Gray McPherson, aged 27 [79] years, one of the best known and most highly esteemed of South Alamance farmers, died Thursday morning at 10:30 at the home of his son, Lon McPherson, Newlin township, following six days of critical illness. His wife died only a year or more ago and he had been with his son since that time.    He was a consistent member of Bethel M. P. church, and the funeral service was held there this morning at 11 o'clock by his former pastor, Rev. G. W. Holmes, assisted by Rev. J. A. Burgess, and the body interred in the church cemetery.    He is survived by two daughters and four sons; Mrs. Newsom Lindley Snow Camp Mrs. Luther Foust, and Lon and Enoch McPherson Graham, route 1; Dr. R. G. McPherson, Saxapahaw, and Tully McPherson, Liberty; and by one brother, William McPherson, Liberty.

   GRAHAM — John Lee “Pops” McPherson, 76, of Etowah, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Pardee Memorial Hospital.
   He was a native of Alamance County and lived in Graham, N.C. most of his life spending the past seven years in Etowah and Graham, N.C. He was the son of Imogene Moser McPherson of Burlington, N.C. and the late John H. McPherson. He was preceded in death by his first wife Betsy Starr McPherson who died in 1992. He worked for the North Carolina Department of Transportation as a Highway Engineer for 40 years, retiring in 1987. He was a leader in the Boy Scouts of America Cherokee Council for 25 years, past member of Graham Exchange Club, and member of the Alamance County Senior Golf Association. He was an Associate member of Cummings Memorial United Methodist Church in Horseshoe, N.C. and member of First United Methodist Church in Graham, N.C.
   In addition to his mother he is survived by his loving wife Betty Richardson McPherson; two sons Don “Bolt” McPherson of Burlington, N.C. and Worth McPherson and his wife Debbie of Graham, N.C.; one daughter Rev. Beth Crissman and her husband Rev. Kelly Crissman of Asheville; five stepdaughters, Carol Hill and her husband Jeff, Debbie Golebiowski and her husband Danny, Robin Farr and her husband Hollis, Sandy Kuffel and her husband Larry, and Nancy Bradford and her husband Alan; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild 12 stepgrandchildren and three great-stepgrandchildren; one sister Ellen Huffines and her husband Grover and two nephews.
   A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 30, at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Graham, N.C. with the Rev. Paul Phillips officiating.    SNOW CAMP — Miss Nannie McPherson, 95, of 7255 Snow Camp Road, died at 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2003, at the residence of a niece, Jamie Graves, 1661 Payne Road, Graham after a few months of declining health and one month critical.
   A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late W. Lawrence McPherson and Maude McPherson. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
   Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Beryl Moser of Burlington; a niece, Ms. Jamie Graves of Graham; and a nephew, Mr. James L. McPherson of Snow Camp.
   She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Grace M. McPherson; and a brother, Mr. W. Leonard McPherson.
   The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Clark Barfield, and the Rev. R. E. L. Moser. Burial will be in Bethel United Methodist Church cemetery.

   SNOW CAMP — Mr. W. Leonard McPherson, 75, of 7255 Snow Camp Road, died at 9:31 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2001, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a critical illness of six weeks.
   A native of Alamance County, he was the son of W. Lawrence McPherson and Maude McPherson McPherson, both deceased. He was a retired farmer and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
   Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Beryl Moser of Burlington and Miss Nannie McPherson of the home.
   He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Grace M. McPherson.

   BURLINGTON — Hoston Elmo Paschal, 82, of 3202 Kellam Ct., died Thursday March 7, 2002 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Caswell County, he was the son of the late Elisha P. and Fannie Tate Paschal and the husband of Dorothy Hundley Overbey Paschal who survives.
   Mr. Paschal was a retired employee of Burlington Industries, Pioneer Plant, a member of Faith Bible Chapel where he had served as Deacon and Usher. He was an Air Force Veteran of WWII.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Hundley Overbey Paschal of the home, stepdaughter, Mrs. Carol Estes and her husband John of Cary, Mrs. Glenda Porter and her husband Leonard of Virginia Beach, VA, and Mrs. Diane Whitaker and her husband Roy of Burlington. six stepgrandchildren and two great-stepgrandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Nonia Bell Moore of Greensboro and Mrs. Ann Binus of Louisville, KY; brother, Ernest Paschal and his wife Edna and Wilbert Paschal and his wife Ailene all of Reidsville. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth Saunders Paschal; two brothers, Jessie Paschal and William Ed Paschal; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Haney and Mrs. Bessie Rainey.

   BURLINGTON — W. Ervin Pennington, 73, of 732 Scott St., died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
   A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Nathan Ira and Evie Sue Swaim Pennington. He was retired from Pine Chemical Co. and was of the Baptist faith. He was a 1954 graduate of Elon University and a member of I.M.A. and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Pickrell Pennington with whom he celebrated 41 years of marriage; two daughters, ms Dawn Pennington of Burlington and Donna Mumford and husband, Tommy, of Graham; a sister, Mrs. Pat Harwood of Maryland; three brothers, Howard Pennington of Elon, Donald Pennington of Columbus, Ohio, and John Pennington of Greensboro; and grandchildren, Brock Jones, Daniel Mumford, T. Onslow Osborne Thompson Jr. "Double O"
   GRAHAM — Mr. Onslow Osborne Thompson Jr., 81, of South Main Street, Graham, went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2006. Mr. Thompson was born September 22, 1924, to the late Mattie Crawford Thompson and Onslow Osborne Thompson Sr. Over the years he was a motor coach driver for Carolina Trailways and truck driver for Burlington Industries. After retirement, he became a household repairman and replacement window installer. Mr. Thompson was a Mason and a member of Gideon International. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church , where he was a former Deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II.
   He was married on June 6, 1942 to Frankie Wrenn Thompson, who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Mr. Mike Thompson and wife, Carol, of Gibsonville and the Rev. Ozzie Thompson and wife, Barbara, of Burlington; two grandchildren, Crystal Cole and husband, Tommy, of Pleasant Garden and Jeff Thompson and wife, Tonya, of Graham; four great-grandchildren, Alex, Bethany, Chelsea, and Jeremy; one brother, Edmund L. "Toot" Thompson and wife, Eleanor, of Graham; and one sister, Linda Thompson of Graham.
   The funeral will be held on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Riverside Baptist Church by the Rev. Bob Stephenson, and the Rev. Curtis Oakley. Interment will follow at the Bethel United Methodist Church cemetery in Snow Camp with the Rev. Don Pegg officiating.
   Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home of Graham, and at other times at the residence.
   In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Riverside Baptist Church , 1568 East Harden Street, Graham, N.C. 27253. The family wishes to thank the staff at White Oak for their kindness and tender care during "OO’s" illness.

   SNOW CAMP - Michael Todd Williams, 17, of 2165 Quakenbush Road died Sunday [12-09-1990] as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
   Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Victory Chapel Wesleyan Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
   He was an 11th grade student at Southern High School.
   Surviving are parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. John Williams; sister, Mrs. Wanda W. Ray of Snow Camp; brother, Jeff Williams of the home; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Kathleen Meeks of Snow Camp; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Juanita LaPrade of Graham.

    GRAHAM - Mrs. Sallie Bivins Wilson, 77, of 5452 South N.C. 87 died Sunday [12-16-1990] at her home.
    Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel United Methodist Church, of which she was a member and former Sunday School teacher. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
    A native of Alamance County, she was retired from teaching for 34 years in the Alamance, Moore and Robeson County schools.
    Surviving are sister, Miss Maude Bivins of Franklin; stepdaughters, Mrs. Annie May of Moncure, Mrs. Betty McVey of Snow Camp; stepson, Ronnie N. Wilson of Graham; seven stepgrandchildren.

   GRAHAM — Mrs. Bonnie Stout Wood, 85, of 158 Moore’s Chapel Cemetery Road, died at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2001 at the Edgewood Place of Burlington.
   She was the wife of the late Mr. J. Giley Wood, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everette and Mary Bailey Stout, both deceased. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for 36 years.
   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dot (Clyde) McPherson of Graham; two granddaughters, Mrs. Pam Mann and Ms. Julie McPherson, both of Graham; two great-grandchildren, Ms. Heather Mann and Mr. Chad Mann, both of Graham; three sisters, Mrs. Ann Moose of Cherryville, Mrs. Ethel Payne of Snow Camp, and Mrs. Gladys Thompson of Graham; and three brothers, Mr. Jesse “Bud” Stout and Mr. J. E. “Cap” Stout, both of Graham, and Mr. John R. Stout of Snow Camp.
   She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Nellie Larsen; and two brothers, Jack Stout and Marvin “Punk” Stout.
   The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Snow Camp by the Rev. Randy Blanchard, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
   The family will be at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham, from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the home of the daughter, 146 Moore’s Chapel Cemetery Road in Graham.
