Dickenson, James1784James Dickenson received land in Sunbury for himself, his company and other suffering Loyalist, for this land he received consent as appears from under the hand of George Leonard and James Peters Esq. Since obtaining this land he has gone to Halifax to ask Governor Parr to grant the above families the full complement of ground allowed them by the government, as they were back from the River St. John. He further writes Governor Sir Guy Carleton explaining these facts and prays that he will take the above into consideration and grant orders of survey.
