Lawrence Warren Sherwood

Peacefully, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on January 9, 2007, Mr. Lawrence Warren Sherwood of Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB and formerly of Bonny River, NB. Born at Second Falls, on June 30, 1915, Lawrence was the son of the late Manford and Josephine (Campbell) Sherwood. He is survived by one sister Norma (James) Kinney of Bonny River and five nieces and several cousins.

Lawrence worked most of his life as a woodsman and farmer. Prior to entering the Fundy Nursing Home, he could be seen spending many a day at the St. George Mall talking with many friends he had there.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm from the Second Falls Baptist Church in Second Falls, with Rev. Wayne Culberson officiating, followed by interment in the Second Falls Community Cemetery. In Lawrence’s memory donations made to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
