Taylor of Second Falls NB. Born at Second Falls NB on November 4,
1934, he was a son of the late Herbert and Ella (
Stewart)
Taylor. A loving father, grandfather and brother, Roy is survived by one
son, Michael (Bonnie) Taylor of Second Falls NB, one daughter, Pamela
(David)
Schmitz of Second Falls NB, four grandchildren;
Michael, Selena, Jenny and Bradley, two great-grandchildren; Jayden and
Kayden, one brother, Richard Taylor of Second Falls NB, one sister, Ruby
Taylor of New York and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to
his parents, Roy was predeceased by nine brothers and one sister.
Roy was a man of simple pleasures. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed
hunting and was known in his family as a road runner, always going for
drives and stopping to talk and visit with those he knew.
There will be no visitation. A service will be held from the Gary E. Waycott
Memorial Chapel at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26
Portage Street, St. George NB on Monday at 2:00 pm with Brittain Boyd
officiating. The interment will be held at the Second Falls Baptist Cemetery
in the spring. In Roy’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice
would be appreciated by the family.
