Geraldine Marie Kinney

At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on May 21, 2009, Mrs. Geraldine Marie (Golden) Kinney, wife of the late Aldon M. Kinney of Second Falls NB. Born at Bonny River NB on February 19, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Frances (Robbins) Golden. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by her daughter, Christine (Clair) Monaghan of Second Falls, two grandchildren; Steven (Dianne) Monaghan of Second Falls and Shawn Monaghan of Bonny River, great grandchildren; Stephanie and Jillian, four sisters; Marjorie Booker of Second Falls, Frances Deveau of Utopia NB, Donna (Raymond) Deveau of Bonny River and Kathleen (Glendon) Buchanan of Second Falls and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband Aldon, she was predeceased by one brother, Arthur Golden.

eraldine was a loving mother who enjoyed going for drives and spending time at McDougall Lake in the summer. In her spare time she loved to garden and read.

In keeping with Geraldine’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2 pm at the Second Falls Baptist Church, Second Falls NB, with Rev. Reg Ward officiating and the interment following at the church cemetery. In Geraldine’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
