Peacefully at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews NB on February 21, 2013,
Mrs. Eileen (Heustis) Trynor, wife of the late Donald A. Trynor of St.
George NB. Born at Jemseg NB on October 8, 1918, she was the daughter of the
late Merrit and Margaret (Carney) Heustis. A loving mother, grandmother and
sister, Eileen is survived by three sons; John (Marsha) Trynor of
Breadalbane NB, Tom (Joan) Trynor of Mascarene NB and Rodney Trynor of St.
George NB, three grandsons; Donald Trynor of Toronto ON, Jonathan Steeves of
Saint John NB and Michael Steeves of Corner Brook NL, one brother, Guy
(Lorena) Heustis of Scotchtown NB, one sister, Affa Heustis of Toronto ON,
one sister in law, Bernice Heustis of Douglas Harbour NB and by several
nieces, nephews and cousins. IN addition to her husband Donald, she was
predeceased by brothers; Claude, Phillip, Carney (Joan), and Randolph and by
her sisters; Ruth Niles (George) and Isabelle Heustis.
Eileen was a very talented lady who loved to paint and write poetry and had
one of her poems published in the book, “From Wayside and Woodland” when she
was 89 years old. Before her illness, she was in the process of writing a
children’s book.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium Ltd. (755-3533) 26
Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
The service will be held from the St. George Baptist Church, St. George NB
on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Darren Millett officiating. The interment
will take place at the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring. In Eileen’s
memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or to a charity of
the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
