The plot was purchased in 1945, by (Andrew Murray), who is buried under the
name William A. Murray (a veterans stone marks the
gravesite). Beside him, is his first wife, Myrtle Evangeline (Brown)
Murray, b.15 July 1901 in St. George, d.19 July 1945, at Pea Point Light and
Fog Alarm.
Myrtle was the d/o
Frank and Annie Esther (Hennessey) Brown, of St. George.
William Andrew Murray was
b.26 Aug 1898 in Fairville, the son of William James Murray of New River and
Susan Maria Galbraith of Lorneville.
He served in both World
Wars and was the keeper at Pea Point for 25 years, see;
