Myrtle Amanda Lee
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mom, Myrtle Amanda (Gaudet) Lee. Widow of the late Jed D. Lee and daughter of the late Jesse and Lena Gaudet.

Mom was born at Blacks Harbour NB on April 9, 1920 and died at Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews NB after a period of declining health, with her dedicated family by her side and constantly watched over by the very dedicated and caring nurses, LPN’s, volunteers and the kitchen, cleaning and activities staff who cared for and loved her over the past 4 ½ years.

She is survived by seven children, Wayne (Jane), Linda (Brien) Titus, Carl (Diane), John, Philip (Connie), Nancy (Danny) Henry and Leonard, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, two brothers, Maynard (Zella), Burton (Lola), two sisters, Dorothy Carr and Mary Richardson (Austin).

She was predeceased by four brothers, Ralph, Albert, Ernie and Jim Gaudet, and by two sisters, Marjorie Grant and Belva Carroll.

Mom took great pride in caring for her family and making a warm and loving home for her husband and children and most of the neighbourhood kids.

As keeping with Myrtle’s wishes, there will be no visiting. A service will be held from the St. Marks Anglican Church, St. George NB on Wednesday at 2 pm with Rev. Mary Ann Langmaid officiating followed by the interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flower’s donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
