Pennfield Woman's Burns
Prove Fatal - St. George (Special) -
The death of Mrs. Elsie Evelyn Maxwell, wife of J. Robinson
Maxwell of Pennfield occurred in Saint John where she had been a patient as the
result of burns suffered when her clothing caught fire in her home Oct 8th.
A daughter of the late Israel and Margaret (Noddin)
Justason, of Pennfield, she was 54 years of age.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Robert
Keglar and Mrs. Maurice Cook, Pennfield; seven
brothers, Judson, Rubin, Everett, Joseph, Elmer, Barney and David Justason,
Pennfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Rachael Justason of Black's Harbour and Mrs.
Frank Vickery, Pennfield; seven grandchildren and a number of
nephews and nieces.
The funeral was held from her home to the United Baptist
Church, Pennfield, of which she was a member. Service was conducted by the
pastor, Rev. T. W. Howard.
The pallbearers were Maurice and Carleton Justason, Maynard
Campbell and Chandler Justason. Interment was in the St. George Rural
Cemetery.
